If at any point of time you think that you don’t need your Gmail account and want to disable it, you can do so. But before disabling your account do keep in mind certain points. Once you disable your Gmail account all the emails along with all the other content saved on your Gmail account will get deleted.
1. Sign in with your Gmail account.
2. Go to “My Account”. Click on “Delete your account or services”.
3. Select “Delete products”.
4. You will be directed to the login page again.
5. Look for Gmail in the “Delete a product” section and select “Delete”.
6. Follow the instructions appearing on the screen and click “Remove Gmail”.
